Personality:
A doe with a passionate heart and a logical mind. While she will follow her heart when she has strong emotions, she more often will follow her logical mind. Sila is a friendly, confident doe. She's social and easily makes friends. Sila enjoys doing things with others, rather then alone. Loyal in nature, Sila makes friends for life. The opposite of that means she's also able to dislike you for life.
She isn't very superstitious, and does think some of the Silverthorne's rules get a bit silly. 5 is a great number, but if that was true, the other herds would have died out ages ago. She does believe in the gods, and most often prays to Grian and Luan.
She's optimistic, and doesn't let an obstacle get her down.

As a fawn, Sila behaves more like a boy then a girl. She often does daring things (much to the annoyance of her mother) and is the first to jump into a challenge. She's hyper, often jumping around, but enjoys laughing and is a caring friend.
As adult, Sila becomes much more girly. Still not shy to jump into a challenge, but she's calmed down a lot. She will no longer jump on thin ice cause somebody dared for her example. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Simba, and resents Soma for his actions towards Simba.

It's not easy to scare Sila. With her dauntless attitude and sharp mind, she's sometimes compared with a fox - she will often get her way, and if it's not today, tomorrow will work too. But not the day after tomorrow, she's pretty impatient.

Sila is expected to be perfect, especially by her mother. Being born beautiful and gracefully, she should act as such. She didn't care as a child, but as she started to mature, she began to find other people's views important. As such, Sila will try to live up to the perfect image her mother has of her. She sets her goals high, trying to behave perfectly, never stepping out of lines, and mastering her fire magic as soon as possible. She fears not living up to her mother's expectations more then predators. (well let's face it, the predators can be scared off with her fire, her mother can't!)
Sila is a perfectionist, her fire magic is very dear to her, and she keeps up a strict training program to further master her skills. She's rather master them today over tomorrow.

After being taken away to the Blackwood herd, she feels like a failure, as she didn't and doesn't succeed in escaping. It makes her less confident, but not less passionate about escaping. She continues to train her fire magic, as much out of the sight of the stags as possible. She'll try whatever it takes to get home.

History:
Year 748 of the New Age
Spring - Silverthorne

Sila was one of the first fawns born that year and the other does were surprised about her beauty. For a young doe, she had beauty & elegance and she was a fast learner.
Only a few weeks later, other fawns were born and Sila found 2 other fawns to play with: Simba and Soma. Simba was a pale colored young stag that was always happy, while Soma, a dark stag was know for his big mouth, his to high level of courage and his tricky personality. Sila quickly befriends the newborn fawns, and as they age, the 3 of the play together more and more often.
All 3 of them became good friends, despite their different personalities.

Though Sila was praised for her elegance and beauty, she wasn't always the real girl the herd wanted her to be. Often challenged by Soma, she did things that were more things for boys, though Sila did get known in the herd for her undaunted attidude, and not easily scared personality. Stags were already saying that she would be a good mother one day, able to defend her fawn.
The doe's on the other hand saw another thing. Sila was pretty close to Simba and the mothers of Sila and Simba were already talking about the future, of the day were Simba would fight to 'claim' Sila ...

Sadly that day never came. While Simba stayed the happy boy he was, Soma became more aggressive each day. When he started to grow horns and the first rut was in coming up, he totally changed. Soma was know to often have illegal fights, even when non of the herd ever caught him to it. Sila became more and more scared of her friend ... She started to avoid Soma, not at all interested in his bashful words and aggressive attitude. She kept meeting with Simba trough, and more then once, the two of them would go for a walk into the woods.

One day, Simba, Soma and Sila were together, having a discussion. Soma had blamed Simba that he wanted to take Sila. The 2 stags came into a fight, where Soma pushed Simba of a cliff ...
Sila had screamed his name she saw the pale stag fall into the ravine. Angry at Soma, she ran away to find her friend. But she never found him ... It was a blackwood stag that found her .. and took her away ...
